About Sam:

Meet Sam. Outside of her full-time job as a Social Media & Communications Specialist for a school district in Texas, and her full-time role as a mom, she also owns a modern hand embroidery business selling colorful patterns, kits, embroidery supplies, and digital products that inspire creativity and joyful crafting. 

She grew up in Arkansas learning hand-embroidery from her mother and grandmother at a young age, helping them embroider images on fabric squares that they would fashion into quilts. In 2019, she rediscovered the craft in the form of modern hand-embroidery. Diving deep into the hobby, she started selling hoops to family and friends and occupied a spot at a local art store. After moving to Texas, she decided to sell online and opened her Etsy shop in 2021.

Hard work mixed with a little luck, Sam went viral in December 2023 and now has accumulated over 100,000 followers across her various social media platforms. She has partnered with many major craft sites including, JOANN, Michael’s, DMC Embroidery, Lion Brand Yarn, and Clover USA.

Now a family business, Sam’s husband runs operations full-time for the business, managing shipping, and Sam still works full-time while running the creative production, marketing, and listing side of the shop.

When not surrounded by embroidery patterns and supplies, Sam, loves spending time with her husband and 1 year old daughter, thrift shopping, finding new coffee shops, and binging true crime and reality tv.
