About Alison: 

• My career was in private school admissions and I made jewelry and oyster trinket dishes as a creative outlet, never intentions to do much with it from a business standpoint! I guess you could say I was a reluctant entrepreneur.
• Became an accidental business owner after putting some of my items in my mom’s store to sell and the items selling better than expected!
• Went full time with my business in February 2021, 6 months after launching on Faire and Shopify. 
• I sell primarily on Faire (wholesale) and Shopify, some in person markets, and recently opened an Etsy shop to diversify my platforms.
•  Mistakes were made as I stumbled into business ownership, but ultimately selling wholesale changed my life and took me from a hobby maker to full time business owner, so I’m eager to share so others can expand their businesses and do so with a few less fumbles! 
• Since joining Faire in 2021, I have done business with over 500 retail stores (almost 600 now) in 15 countries.
