ABOUT BECCA:

I’m a wife and mom to one wildly sassy little girl who keeps me humble and caffeinated. By degree, I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist, but deep down, I’ve always had a soft spot for side hustles and creative chaos. My first official toe-dip into the online biz world was on Teachers Pay Teachers, making speech therapy and early childhood printables but it started to feel a lot like my day job with a fancier font. I’ve always designed party invites and printables for friends and family for fun, but it wasn’t until I stumbled across Lizzie’s podcast during a drive between patient visits that something shifted. You said, “There is room at the table for everyone,” and that line stopped me in my tracks. It felt like the sign I didn’t know I was waiting for. So, on March 8, 2025, I officially opened my Etsy shop—and I haven’t looked back (except to laugh at how long it took me to just go for it).

ABOUT JASON:

Jason Pagliaro is the proud owner and creative force behind Guardian Custom Creations. A United States Marine Corps Veteran, Jason served during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm before continuing his commitment to service as a contractor supporting USMC intelligence systems. His work once again took him to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After relocating to Savannah, GA, Jason pursued a lifelong dream and became a police officer with the Savannah Police Department. Over his distinguished 20-year career, he rose to the rank of Sergeant, and lead the Office of Homeland Security, the Dignitary Protection Unit, and serving as the Chief Pilot for the Drone Unit. Jason retired from public service in April 2026, and now channels his passion for craftsmanship, design, and patriotism into Guardian Custom Creations—a brand dedicated to high-quality digital designs.

Jason is married to his best friend and biggest supporter, Tina, a successful entrepreneur with a thriving Etsy and Shopify business, Wreaths of Bloom, where Jason handles all the shipping duties. Tina’s expertise and creative talent have been recognized in Southern Living Magazine, and she was a guest on Episode 102 of How to Sell Your Stuff On Etsy. Inspired by her success, Jason launched Guardian Custom Creations to create meaningful, high-quality designs while building a future beyond his time in uniform.

When he’s not designing, you’ll find Jason and Tina out camping, making memories with their four grandkids, or spending time with their two beloved rescue dogs, Zarah and Zoey.

EPISODE SUMMARY:

In this episode of "How to Sell Your Stuff on Etsy," I am thrilled to dive into the transformative world of AI and how it can revolutionize your Etsy shop. This month, we're focusing on "Claude Month" in my Scaling Society, where we explore the various ways AI, particularly Claude AI, can streamline our business processes and enhance our creativity.

Joining me for this insightful discussion are my two head coaches, Becca and Jason. Becca, a talented speech-language pathologist and successful Etsy seller, shares her journey from attending one of my AI workshops to becoming a star student in the world of digital invitations and PNGs. Jason, a tech genius and former Marine, brings his expertise in laser engraving and digital design to the table, helping us understand the technical aspects of integrating AI into our Etsy shops.

Throughout the episode, we discuss the ongoing debate surrounding AI design versus traditional methods, emphasizing the importance of using AI ethically. We delve into how Claude AI can automate various aspects of our Etsy businesses, from SEO research to shop audits, making our operations more efficient and effective. Jason explains how Claude can analyze your listings, compare them to Everbee data, and provide actionable suggestions to improve your shop's performance.

Becca shares her experiences using AI for trend spotting and creating detailed reports that help Etsy sellers identify opportunities in the digital, handmade, and print-on-demand spaces. We discuss the importance of adapting to trends early, especially for seasonal products, and how AI can assist in generating creative ideas and prompts.

As we engage in a lively roundtable discussion, we touch on the differences between Claude and ChatGPT, highlighting how each tool serves distinct purposes in our workflows. While Claude excels in analytical tasks and detailed outputs, ChatGPT shines in crafting personalized emails and maintaining a conversational tone.

Listeners will gain valuable insights into how to leverage AI tools to enhance their Etsy shops, streamline their processes, and ultimately achieve greater success. Whether you're a seasoned seller or just starting, this episode is packed with practical tips and inspiration to help you navigate the evolving landscape of e-commerce with confidence.
