In this episode of "How to Sell Your Stuff on Etsy," I’m welcoming back my sister Caroline for a candid and lively discussion about ADHD and how it intersects with our entrepreneurial journeys. As two successful women with ADHD, we explore the unique challenges and advantages that come with this neurodiversity, particularly in the context of running our own businesses.

We kick off the episode by sharing our personal experiences with ADHD. Caroline, diagnosed in her youth, reflects on how her symptoms manifested in school, while I discuss my late diagnosis in my 30s, which came after my first child. We touch on the common misconception that ADHD only affects children and highlight how it can present differently in women, especially as we age.

As we dive deeper into the topic of ADHD, we share a list of common characteristics associated with the condition, discussing each one and how it applies to us. From difficulties with time management and procrastination to the benefits of hyper-focus and creativity, we explore how these traits can both hinder and enhance our professional lives. Caroline shares her insights on executive dysfunction and how it affects her ability to complete tasks, while I reflect on how my high energy and adaptability have contributed to my success.
